Back translation

Also called reverse translation, back translation is the translation of a previous translation, but now in the opposite direction and done by another professional who is a native speaker of the target language. Its function is to compare the back translation with the original text and check that the text has been translated faithfully and accurately, maintaining the integrity of the original message, without adding noise to the communication.
