Audio description

A detailed description, in audio form, of audiovisual content, making it accessible to people with visual or intellectual disabilities, the elderly, dyslexics, etc. According to Vergara-Nunes, in his 2016 doctoral thesis, audio description is "the translation into words of all visual information relevant to the understanding of a given message."
